Brad Douglas Paisley gibt an, dass seine Liebe zur Countrymusik von seinem Großvater mütterlicherseits geweckt wurde, als dieser ihm im Alter von acht Jahren seine erste Gitarre schenkte und das Gitarrenspiel beibrachte.
